Observations

Between the place called Crucea Batranei (The old lady’s cross) and Ursoaia Saddle, the red stripe trail markers are scarce and slightly visible. In winter, the route between Muntele Mare and Racatau Saddle is accessible according to the quantity and quality of snow only to experienced tourists who are well-equipped, preferably with ski touring equipment, and have good knowledge of the area.
